Shenandoah Manor is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our residents and facilitate their speedy recovery.
Shenandoah Manor RNs are responsible for educating residents and their families on prevention and healthy habits.

Responsibilities:
Monitor resident's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and adviceObserve and interpret resident's symptoms and communicate them to physiciansCollaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patientsPerform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.
) and fill in resident's chartsAdjust and administer resident's medication and provide treatments according to physician's ordersInspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.
)Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for resident's and their familiesAssist in other areas as assigned by DON.
Requirements:
Valid nursing license within the state of PAExcellent knowledge of nursing care methods and proceduresExcellent knowledge of emergency careIn-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow them at all timesA team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsible and compassionateOutstanding organizational and multi-tasking skillsRequired
